Chilli Con Carne. Mario Aquilina from Malta gave this to Freda...it's the best ever Chilli Con Carne,

bullet1lb mince beef
bullet1 tin chopped tomatoes
bullet2 tins chilli kidney beans
bulletgarlic (4cloves)
bullet1 onion
bullet1 teaspoon black pepper ground
bullet1 green  red & yellow peppers
bullet1 teaspoon  chilli powder
bullet1 teaspoon  chilli seeds
bullet1 pt water

Method:

Fry the onion and garlic for 1 minute then add the mince beef and cook until brown. then add the black pepper, cook for minute then add the tomato puree. Add the chopped tomatoes and the chilli kidney beans cook for 2mins then add the chilli powder and chilli seeds cook for another 2 minutes. then add the chopped green red and yellow peppers and stir until well mixed. cook for about 3 minutes then boil 1 pint of water and add it to the chilli stirring until well mixed, bring chilli to the boil and then simmer until the mixture starts to thicken after about 20 minutes. and "VOILA" DELICIOUS CHILLI CON CARNE.

Serve with Rice.
