As for myself, I have been in Australia since 1988 and am very happy here, I married Olive Merne in 1987 and we came directly here a week later to start anew. We have two children Sean is 9 ( 10 in Sept) and Sarah is 7. I studied Industrial Engineering after I arrived ( I was a fitter in Ireland) and now am Production Manager of a medium size plastics manufacturing firm. We make Synthetic yarn ( Polypropylene/Polyethylene )for tennis courts, hockey fields, soccer pitches etc. I have been with the company almost 13 years, In the early years (before kids) we travelled extensively around Australia which was great, In the last couple of years we have depended on visits from friends and relative. Highlights were Hudziak and Thomas O'Kane when they came for the Grand Prix also Eddie Laycock when he was racing Grand Prix, he stayed with us and we had a great time in the GP paddock. I still enjoy the bikes and I ride a Kawasaki ZX6R to work every day. I also keep Locky's Yamaha FZR1000 in my garage since Locky moved back to England. We are looking forward to our trip back to Ireland in September, we will be there from 9th Sept for six weeks.
