 | It was a day to remember, and one that I won't forget easily. It
started out at Deidre's home at 1300hrs. Deidre was a little nervous and
steadied herself with a few shots of the crater (brandy). I also had a few
shots to steady my own nerves as Deidre and Liam had asked me to drive
them to church and to the reception thereafter. The service went according
to plan and Liam & Deidre were officially married at 1500hrs on the 7th
June 2002. Later Four Hundred people sat down to dinner at the reception
which was held in the Seven Oaks Hotel Carlow. We were joined by another
200 folk after the dinner was finished. We danced all night long until the
early hours. There was a band and a disco hired to keep us entertained
throughout the night.. I left the the Seven Oaks at 0530am the following
morning. What a night! |
| At the time of this writing, Deidre is pregnant and is expecting
sometime before Xmass. I wish her and Liam all the happiness in the
future. We continued the celebration the very next day when we all met up
again in the hotel at 1400hrs. |
